This is an issue close to my heart… My father is a prostate cancer survivor and I have seen the effects of cancer on families.
Both prostate and breast cancers are leading causes of death among men and women respectively. By contributing to the research we are hoping to do our small part in someday finding a cure for these cancers.

Prostate Cancer
Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in American men other than skin cancer. Following are some statistics from The American Cancer Society’s estimates for prostate cancer in United States:
-About 220,800 new cases of prostate cancer in 2015.
-About 27,540 deaths from prostate cancer in 2015.
-About 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
-Prostate cancer is the 2nd leading cause of death in American men after lung cancer.

Prostate cancer can be a serious disease, but most men diagnosed with ittoday will not die from it. There has been tremendous progress in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. However, many men still suffer from prostate cancer and much research still needs to be done to find better treatments and a cure.

Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) is the world’s largest source of support for prostate cancer research. Founded in 1993, PCF has generated more than $615 million and provided funding to more than 2,000 research projects worldwide. PCF has been a pioneer in simplifying the grant making process andit is a strong advocate for greater awareness and more government resources.

Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States other than skin cancer. Following are some statistics from The American Cancer Society’s estimates for breast cancer in United States in 2015:
-About 231,840new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women.
-About 60,290 new cases of carcinoma in situ (CIS) will be diagnosed (non-invasive).
-About 40,290women will die from breast cancer.
-About 1 in 8women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in their lifetime.
-Prostate cancer is the 2nd leading cause of death in American women.

Death rates from breast cancer have been declining due in part to earlier detection through screening and increased awareness as well as improved treatment. However, breast cancer is still the second leading cause of death among women after lung cancer.

There are numerous organizations helping to drive the public awareness and research of breast cancer. One of these organizations is National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. (NBCF). This non-profit was founded in 1991 and is one of theleading organizations in providing women help and inspiring hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education, and support services.

You decide which research organization you prefer and we will donate portion of our commission in your name. It does not cost you any money… you will be helping great causes!
